So, exactly what is To Live For?
How To Live For came about is described on our story page, but the deeper question is “what is our purpose?” We both just finsihed reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and in this wonderfully written novel we find the hero, Santiago, a shepherd boy, off on a journey to find hidden treasure. In the end, the journey is not about finding the treasure; it is about Santiago living his “Personal Legend” as Coellho calls it.
Personal Legend. Passion. Gifts. Joy. Purpose. These words all describe what To Live For seeks to empower in all of us, and that is to live a life that is based on our passions and gifts, on what brings the best out of us and the best out of others, and on what resides deep within our hearts.
We have spent the last few months talking with friends, and friends of friends, and people we meet on the street, or behind a jewelry bench, or on the waves, and we have been asking them questions about their journey. What brings them joy. How are they traveling their path so that they live from their heart and in their passion. What shaped their decision to walk the path less traveled and what wisdom would they like to share with our audience.
We have had a blast listening to these stories. We have been touched and honored, as well. We also confess our recording equipment and skills need to be improved, but we feel you will get the gist of our vision.

We hope are you are inspired by someone or some thing here so that you seek what you feel is To Live For, and along your journey, we hope you will share some of your story with all of us. We believe that as we spread the vibe all of us brings to this community based initiative, more and more people will experience the same vibe. The end result is expanding empowerment, healing, and love across our communities and globe, and that is what To Live For is all about!
