Debbie Casterlin
Debbie Casterlin is a Maine artist who is known for her detailed acrylic paintings. She is also interested in photography and other mixed media projects. To meet Debbie is an amazing experience, as her enthusiasm for life and art is so expansive and uplifting. Debbie absolutely exudes positive vibes in her work as a physical therapist (Greater Brunswick Physical Therapy), artist, mom, wife, friend, and soul seeker. She embodies the essence of the ‘to live for’ community. She lives with her husband on a small farm in Brunswick, Maine. She has two grown daughters.
Debbie’s Statement: “I have been capturing moments in time with a paintbrush for as long as I can remember. Though I use many artistic mediums, acrylic painting is my preferred medium. I produce my work instinctively using my brush to convey what I see and feel. I have completed hundreds of custom paintings over the past 30 years, as well as many additional projects, juried and solo exhibits. As I paint, the process inspires me. I love the joy of the moment each blank white canvas ‘come alive’. My goal as an artist is to reveal and capture moments in time that myself and others feel are significant, beautiful, or memorable.”
