A few years ago, Lynda Adams was busy in her job and in her life, but her father’s illness and some personal development classes helped Lynda realize life was precious and it was time to make a change in her own life.
Lynda kept hearing the words ‘Balanced Living’ and she already had a business office called the “Success Center,” and from these two concepts emerged her radio show, “Successful Balanced Living,” which Lynda hosts every week on Portland, Maine’s WMPG. In fact, we were honored to be Lynda’s guests on her show just prior to this interview, which was filmed in a sound room at WMPG. (You can faintly hear music in the background during this interview from the show that was airing live on WMPG at the time!)
In addition to hosting this show, Lynda is also Marketing Director for the magazine, “Essential Living Maine,” and is involved in several civic and government organizations to help make a difference. It’s not a cliche’ in this case: Lynda truly is a Difference Maker!
On her radio show, Lynda interviews people who are making a difference in the community and in people’s lives. Of course, Lynda has the benefit of gleaning wisdom from her guests, so her concept of promoting successful balanced living is quickly evolving and expanding. As Lynda says, as she learns, then can teach more to her audience. Her energy and positive vibes are limitless, and it is exciting to ponder where “Successful Balanced Living” will be in the future.
Lynda is learning how to ‘let go’ of trying to control things, how to ‘be in the moment,’ and setting healthy limits for herself. You can’t help but to be motivated and inspired by Lynda’s approach to life and to her new venture. Successful balanced Living and Lynda Adams are to live for! Thank you, Lynda, for sharing some of your time with us and for the opportunity to be interviewed for your radio show. It was a fun and special afternoon together.
