We met Sean Morin at The Frontier (Brunswick, Maine) where we hosted our first live show, INSPIRED, which was a wonderful success thanks, in part, to Sean’s positive support, direction and management of The Frontier’s theater. As the manager and curator of all the art, music, and movies at The Frontier, you can imagine how much in demand Sean is, but we found Sean to be one of the calmest and coolest persons we have met on our journey. Within 20 seconds of meeting Sean, Paul knew he was someone to interview for ‘To Live For.’ Sean just has a vibe about him that makes you want to hang out with him all day!
Sean’s passion for the arts and for connecting people to the arts runs deep, but, perhaps, an even deeper passion is Sean’s love for music and helping musicians find their own musical path and voice. A music major in college, Sean is now a music teacher at two Maine colleges himself. He is a composer for many Maine based musicians, and he produces albums, as well. Even with the broad and awesome talents, Sean is very humble and grateful for the gift of each moment of the day. His attitude is one of doing whatever he can to serve others. and he certainly demonstrated such dedication to us as we launched our first live show.
Paul asked Sean, what does it take to remain so grounded and calm in the midst of so much going on and trying to meet the needs of so many people? Sean’s answer: “Communication.” Communication connects people and it creates community, so Sean focuses on positive communication. One simple word, ‘communication,’ but a lasting and important piece of wisdom from which all of us can learn. Sean also has a daily routine that helps him stay in balance and positive.
We hope you listen in on this interview as you learn about an incredible and inspirational man who is madly in love with music! Thank you, Sean, for sharing from your heart!
