John Dennen grew up in Durban, South Africa in the 1960's so you can imagine the challenges he had to overcome when he fell in love with his beautiful wife, Indrani, who is of Indian heritage. John and Indrani dared to challenge the Apartheid laws by opening the first Durban restaurant that welcomed people of all colors, by allowing people of color to unionize at their company, and ultimately by getting married.
